Hook, Line and Sinker

Yesterday was April Fools Day. While not an official holiday...it has traditionally been observed by our family. Susan felt it was important to teach her daughters the ways and methods of spoofing your relatives and close friends on April 1st. Well...we may have failed as parents. Yesterday, I sent a text message to Susan, Amy and Katy saying that at our Addison construction site a crane dropped a load of sheetrock on the car of Mark Culwell out senior vice president in charge of the project. (They all know Culwell and knew I was also visiting the site yesterday). I said that no one was hurt, but that is was on Fox News. They all three bought it: hook, line and sinker. Susan is recovering from surgery...so it is fair to expect she might be off her game...but Amy and Katy....I'm trying to set a good example as a parent, but they are adults...what can you do?

Also, at least Amy and I didn't DVR fours hours of FOX News... I'm just saying!
