The reference is to the now famous skit by Christopher Walken and Will Ferrell on Saturday Night Live. I think we live in a culture that often does not know when enough is enough or places the minor parts of life in a major role. Sometimes when someone is wandering off and just hammering away on the wrong point...I often think: "more cowbell"
